Kazakhstan’s Akzhurek Tanatarov, 66-kg weight division free-style wrestler, became a bronze prize-winner of the Olympic Games, Tengrinews.kz reports, citing Vesti.kz. Tanatarov won over Turkey’s Ramazan Sahin with the score of 2:1 in the bronze medal playoff. Earlier Kazakhstan wrestler beat Ukraine’s Andrey Kvyatkovskiy 2:0 in the 1/8 finals. Tanatarov prevailed 2:1 over Armenia’s David Safaryan in the quarterfinals bout. However Kazakhstan wrestler yielded the victory to India’s Sushil Kumar 1:2 in the semifinals.
