Kazakhstan tennis player Zarina Diyas has improved her standing in the Women Tennis Association (WTA) rating, Tengrinews reports citing Vesti.kz. The 20 y.o. Australia Open sensation moved up 40 positions, from the 152nd place to the 112th. She improved her rating during the Australia Open. The Kazakh tennis player got into the third round of the Women Singles losing to Simona Halep, 22, from Romania. Kazakhstan’s No.1 Galina Voskoboyeva has improved her rating too. She got to the 71st place from the 77th. Another Kazakhstani tennis player Yaroslava Shvedova has risen three positions to the 79th place. Unfortunately, Yuliya Putnitsev, also caped for Kazakhstan, lost 10 positions and landed on the 122nd line of the rating. After the Australia Open, where Zarina Diyas got into the third round of the Grand Slam, Sports.ru named her The Girl of the Day. The sport portal considers the 20 y.o athlete to be the sensation of the Australia Open.
