Kazakhstani tennis player Zarina Diyas has been voted for the WTA Rising Stars invitational tournament in Singapore, Tengrinews reports citing Vesti.kz.
The exhibitional competition will bring two representatives from the World league and two representatives from the Asia-Pacific league to determine the best tennis player in the new generation of women&rsquos tennis.
During one month of voting Monica Puig from Puerto Rico (20.65% votes) and an American tennis player Shelby Rogers (16.47%) were chosen as the top two representatives from the World league. Chinese Zheng Saisai (17.72%) along with Zarina Diyas from Kazakhstan (15.74) were voted as the representatives of the Asia-Pacific.

Meanwhile, Diyas is competing in the WTA tournament in Osaka, Japan. The Kazakhstani No. 1 has improved her WTA standing after a tournament in China. Diyas occupies the 37th place in the WTA rating.
The WTA Rising Star takes place from October 17 to 21 as a part of the WTA finals in Singapore.
