Gennady "GGG" Golovkin from Kazakhstan has one again defended his WBA and IBO Middleweight titles by TKOing Osamanu "Ozzie Adams" Adama from Ghana on February 2, in Monte Carlo, Tengrinews reports citing Vesti.kz. At first GGG dropped Osamanu with a strong jab in the 1st round. Two precise left hooks brought Osamanu down again in the 6th round. In the 7th round, Golovkin connected a hard jab and Ozzie Adams touched the canvas for the third time, and the referee announces a TKO. It added a new win to Golovkin’s perfectly unbeaten record bringing it to 29-0 (26KO). Osamanu's rating went down to 22-4 (16KO). “From the opening round I was comfortable with the fight and felt good about my power and the pace of the fight. He was a tough opponent, but I was never hurt,” Golovkin said in a statement released by K2 Promotions. Undefeated Tripple G now wants to fight against Sergio Martinez to prove that he is the best in the middleweight category.
