The women’s national football team of Kazakhstan got into the seventh group as a result of the drawing procedure for the 2015 FIFA Women’s World Cup qualification, Vesti.kz reports. The Kazakhstan team will play against France, Finland, Austria, Hungary and Bulgaria at the qualification tournament. 2015 FIFA Women’s World Cup Qualification Group 1: Germany, Russia, Ireland, Slovakia, Slovenia, Croatia Group 2: Italy, Spain, Czech Republic, Romania, Estonia, FYR Macedonia Group 3: Denmark, Iceland, Switzerland, Serbia, Israel, Malta Group 4: Sweden, Scotland, Poland, Northern Ireland, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Faroe Islands Group 5: Norway, the Netherlands, Belgium, Portugal, Greece, Albania Group 6: the UK, Ukraine, Belarus, Wales, Turkey, Montenegro Group 7: France, Finland, Austria, Hungary, Bulgaria, Kazakhstan Qualification matches will be held as a round-robin tournament, including home and away matches, from September 20, 2013, to September 17, 2014. Seven winners - one from each group - will qualify for the final tournament. Four best teams that will be ranked second in their groups (by the results of their matches against the first, third, fourth and fifth teams of their groups) will compete for the last chance to qualify for the final in the play-off matches that will be held on October 25/26 and 29/30 and November 22/23 and 26/27, 2014. The World Cup will take place on June 6 – July 5 in Edmonton, Moncton, Montreal, Ottawa and Vancouver.
