Football: Kazakhstan looses to Germany in Astana

The national football team of Kazakhstan lost to Germany in a qualification match of the 2014 world championship held at midnight on March 23. Kazakhstan TV channel broadcast the match live. The match in Astana finished 3:0 in Germany’s favor. Kazakhstan goalkeeper Andrey Sidelnikov missed the first goal from Bastian Schweinsteiger on the 20th minute of the match. Two minutes later Mario Götze doubled the score. Thomas Müller landed the final goal on the 74the minute of the match: 3:0. Yuriy Logvinenko, Valeriy Korobkin and Viktor Dmitrienko from the Kazakhstan team and Bastian Schweinsteiger and Benedikt Howedes received yellow cards during the match. The German team has 13 points after the match, and the Kazakhstan team still has its 1 point. The return match will take place on March 26 in Nurnberg. The national team of Kazakhstan will depart to Germany on March 25.
