A Japanese ice skater Tatsuki Machida who was the only man at this year's Skate America to perform clean took the first place at the Skate America with 269.09 points.
American Jason Brown got the second place with 234.17 points.
A Canadian ice skater Nam Nguyen landed on the third place with 232.24 points.
Denis Ten from Kazakhstan competed in the Sochi Olympics and won a bronze medal. He did not participate in the 2014 World Figure Skating Championships in Saitama, Japan.
