German cycling racer Jan Ullrich, who admitted using blood-doping, might lose the medals he gained at the 2000 Olympics in Sydney, Australia, Vesti.kz reports. Ullrich won gold in the road race and silver in time-trial at the Sydney Olympics. Kazakhstan racer Alexandre Vinokourov came second in the road race. If the 39-y.o. German racer loses his medals, the team race's first prize will go to Vinokourov. On June 22, Ullrich admitted that he received blood-doping treatment from scandalously famous Spanish doctor Eufemiano Fuentes, who was sentenced to one year in prison in April, 2013 for taking part in organization of a blood-doping system in cycling sport. In February, 2012 the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) disqualified Ullrich for receiving treatment from doctor Fuentes, and stripped him of all the results gained since May 2005 including his third place victory at the Tour de France 2005. 39-y.o. Kazakhstan cycling racer Alexandre Vinokourov is a road race champion of the 2012 London Olympics.
