Canoeing: Kazakhstan athlete third at 2nd stage of World Cup

Kazakhstan athlete Sergey Yemelyanov came third after the second stage of the ICF Canoe Sprint World Cup II in Racice, Czech Republic, Vesti.kz reports. Czech Republic's Martin Fuksa was the winner of the stage of the men’s C1 500m competition. Denis Garazha from Belarus came second. Canoeing and kayaking. World Cup. Second Stage. Racice (Czech Republic). Men’s C1: 1. Martin Fuksa (Czech Republic) - 1.57,505; 2. Denis Garazha (Belarus) - 1.58,632; 3. Sergey Emelyanov (Kazakhstan) - 1.58,905. Sergey Yemelyanov failed to advance any further after the second stage or win the race however. Dmitry Pivavar from Belarus won the first place, Dzianis Harazha also from Belarus won the second place and Erik Leue from Germany won the third place.
