American boxer Peter Quillin nicknamed Kid Chocolate may be the next rival of WBA world champion Gannady Golovkin of Kazakhstan, Vesti.kz reports Golovkin’s promoter Tom Leffler as saying. According to Leffler, the bout will be held only if it is broadcasted by HBO channel. Golovkin has an agreement with the channel, but Quillin's fights are aired exclusively by Showtime (HBO’s competitor). Same as Kazakhstan's Trippe G the American boxer has no losses and he has high KO rate: he won 28 out of 28 bouts, 20 of them with KOs. Golovkin won 27 out of 27, 24 of them with KOs. Kazakhstan's Golovkin knocked British Matthew Macklin out on June 30. Golovkin dropped Macklin with a crushing left hook to the liver at 1:22 of the third round. Macklin was writhing in pain on the canvas for several minutes after the 10-count was over.
