Astana won Giro d'Italia Fast Team classification

94th Giro d'Italia multi-day race finished in the center of Milan on May 29. For the first time Kazakhstan cycling team Astana won the first place in team speed classification Trofeo Fast Team Classification with 252 hours 44seconds, the tournament website writes. Roman Kreuziger from Astana also won the White jersey in the Young rider classification with 84 hours 16 seconds. Astana cyclist Paolo Tiralongo won the 19th stage of the race between Bergamo and Makunaga (209 km) taking Kazakhstan's Astana team to the leading position. Giro's best cyclist Roman Kreuziger of Astana team ways that he is planning to take some rest after the race. “If I manage to recover, I will be happy to take part in Le Tour de France 2011,” Vremya newspaper reports citing the sportsman. Earlier managing director of Samruk-Kazyna National Sovereign Wealth Fund Darkhan Kaletayev said, that Aleksandr Vinokurov will head Astana team at Le Tour de France 2011. The team's goal is to win the race by team score.
