Kazakh boxers won 3 gold medals at Gagik Tsarukyan's Cup

Kazakhstan boxers won three gold medals at Gagik Tsarukyan's Cup international boxing tournament in Yerevan, the capital of Armenia. Serik Sapiyev, Vassiliy Levit and Ivan Dychko gained the medals for Kazakhstan, NARINGE.KZ reports. Serik Sapiyev, the most titled boxer of the national team, won 13:4 over Samvel Matevosyan. Levit did not have to finish all rounds with Azat Davtyan. In the first 3 minutes Vassiliy brought the score to 6:0 and the judges decided to finish the fight ahead of time. Dychko knocked down his opponent twice in the first round and also finished the fight ahead of time. The team also won one silver medal at the tournament. Gani Zhailauov lost 16:20 to Armenian Vladimir Sarukhanyan and received the second place. Boxers from 16 countries, including Russia, Uzbekistan and Mongolia took part in Gagik Tsarukyan's Cup. Armenia won seven golden medals in the tournament. Kazakhstan was ranked second in overall standings. A judge from Kazakhstan, Rakhymzhan Ryspayev, was tagged the best referee of the tournament in Yerevan.
