All beauties who will take part in the final show of Miss Kazakhstan-2012 pageant have assembled in Astana, Tengrinews.kz reports. “We have decided to completely change the concept of this national project. Earlier it was arranged as a concert show and this time we are going to arrange a festive fashion show. A long catwalk will be placed across the hall of the Palace of Independence and the audience will be in the heart of action in this ambitious event,” president of Miss Kazakhstan-2012 pageant Alyona Rivlina-Kyrbassova said. According to her, organizers of the pageant decided to introduce a new tradition this year and to start awarding national designers, who make dresses and costumes for the national pageant’s participants. “We’ve decided to establish a new prize: The Best Dress of Miss Kazakhstan-2012. This would help motivate our designers to make new dresses for the pageant. The designer that will win the prize will be invited to the next year's contest as a member of the jury.” Ainur Toleuova, Miss Kazakhstan-2011, said that all these pageants help young women to demonstrate and expand their talents and potential and also to transform into a new personality. “The motto of our pageant is the Beauty for a Purpose. I think that the show should help many girls feel better about other people and themselves, start looking after themselves, become more womanish and find new goals in their lives. I wish to all the participants to be natural, self-assurance, kind of heart and confident. Let the best win the pageant,” Toleuova said. The final show of the Kazakhstan beauty contest will take part on December 8, 2012 in Astana's Palace of Independence. Astana Akimat Culture Department head Bolat Mazhagulov, Merited Artist of the Republic of Kazakhstan and world renowned violin virtuoso Marat Bissengaliyev, Kazakhstan filmmaker Farkhat Sharipov, designer and actor Bopesh Zhandayev and many others will be members of the jury of the event. The organizers of the pageant have announced the list of the finalists. Several girls will be representing Astana and Almaty cities. And not only winners of regional contests will participate in the pageant. Aliya Mukhanova, Miss Aktobe, will represent Aktobe in the final stage of the show. Farida Malik, Miss Almaty, and Karina Zhetessova will represent Almaty. Seven girls – Aiulym Yergazy, Miss Astana, Aizhan Baidossova, First Vice-Miss Astana, Margarita Bektemyeva, Gulstan Omarova, Ruslana Tereshenya, Yekaterina Ponomarenko and Aygerim Kozhakhanova will represent Astana. The following girls were the winners of regional pageants and will represent other cities of Kazakhstan: Assylay Amitova (Miss Atyrau), Anna Chudayeva (Miss Karaganda), Ziyada Bekbassynova (Miss Kokshetau), Saule Doszhanova (Miss Kostanay), Gulzira Abuova (Miss Kyzyl-Orda), Aygul Mussakulova (Miss Uralsk), Malika Ibragimova (Miss Ust-Kamenogorsk), Kamilla Jekessova (Miss Pavlodar), Danara Akangali (Miss Semey), Anara Turkestanova (Miss Taldykorgan), Nazym Akylova (Miss Taraz), Zhazira Nurimbetova (Miss Shymkent).
