Astana’s Leila Assanova represented Kazakhstan at the International Contest Miss 7 Continents-2013 and won the Miss Glamour title, Tengrinews.kz reports. Assanova was also given the Miss Kefaluka title, the main prize of contest's sponsor. The 19-y.o. Kazakhstan model participated in a pageant of such scale for the first time. “The contest included not only rehearsals and photo shoots, but we also had a daily sightseeing program. I am pleased with the trip even though I didn’t win the crown,” Leila shared her impression. Robert Aldiyrov Agency's model said that lack of experience was the main difficulty for her at the contest. The Miss World and Miss Universe were also among the participants of the Miss 7 Continents. “We were a bit surprised when the results were announced. Personal stock photo Veronika Daskevica from Latvia won the crown at the The Miss 7 Continents. Estonia’s Vilsar Madli became the First Runner Up and Duca Delia Monica from Romania – The Second. Beauties from 22 countries took part in the International pageant. The Miss 7 Continents-2013 was held in three stages: catwalking in national dresses, evening gowns and swimming suits. The organizers also evaluated the girls' communicative skills, native charisma and sense of humor, besides their model looks and parameters.
