Denis Ten's show with world figure skating stars lasted for two hours in Almaty. They skated their famous programs and new ones that were developed specially for the ice show in Kazakhstan, Tengrinews.kz reports. Denis Ten, the silver winner of the recent Figure Skating World Championship, organized the event. He opened the show skating to Yapurai song sang by famous Kazakhstan singer Alibek Dnishev. Then a duo of Fiona Zaldua and Dmitry Sukhanov from Great Britain skated to When you tell me that you love me sang by Sundent Baigozhin and Marzhan Aparbayeva. Tomas Verner from the Czech Republic fired up the Almaty audience with his sexy dancing to I'm sexy and I know it. Sergey Yakimenko, the only acrobat on ice, entertained the audience with his tricks. Athletes Aleksey Polishuk and Vladimir Besedin, who have been performing together for more than 15 years, also showed very dangerous tricks. The Ukrainians impressed the audience with their humor and extremely complex elements. World champions in singles figure skating Irina Slutskaya and Carolina Kostner brought grace and beauty to the ice show, and silver winner of the Olympics Stéphane Lambiel showed his most fabulous spins. The climax of the event was the final skating in Kazakh national costumes that were specially tailored for the athletes. The world figure skating stars led by Denis Ten performed a dance to a Kazakh national song. In the end of the show Denis Ten promised to put all the efforts in making the ice show with stars an annual event in Kazakhstan. Kazakhstan’s violinist Zhamilya Serkebayeva, Mezzo and Rin’Go bands, singers Baurzhan Issayev, Meir Beinesh and Marat Akhmetzhanov also took part in the show. Kazakhstan Olympic boxing champion Serik Sapiyev, famous rhythmic gymnast Anna Alyabyeva and singers Nurlan Abdulin and Madina Sadvakasova mastered the ceremony.
