Five Kazakh startups will be presented in Singapore at the annual conference Echelon Aisa Summit, Tengrinews reports.

Echelon Asia Summit is considered the largest start-up event in Asia. The conference will be held on June 23-24. It will welcome authors of 100 best startups from all over Asia. About two thousand delegates, including investors and experts in business and technology, are expected to attend the event.

Young Kazakh entrepreneurs presented their projects before the jury of experts, including partner and founder of Golden Gate Jeffrey Paine, venture partner of 500 Startups Hasan Haider and co-founder of HotelQuickly Christian Mischler.

After the presentation, the jury chose three most promising startups, giving them a ticket to Singapore. In addition, authors of two projects who won additional nominations were also given a chance to attend the conference.

One of the teams to go to Echelon Asia Summit from Kazakhstan this year is a startup called Replicon that develops software and hardware for 3D-printers and scanners for production of replacements for traditional plaster bandages.

The other four winners are Avita (cheap flights search service), Mikee (search application for online supermarkets), EcoSocket ("smart" socket that helps save energy), and PicVpic (online mall to buy clothes).
