Ordway: Interests of US and Kazakhstan conside in countering terrorism

Kazakhstan President Nursultan Nazarbayev met with temporary charge d'affaires of the United States in Kazakhstan John Ordway today, September 12, Tengrinews.kz reports citing the President’s official website. According to the President’s press-service, the meeting covered further development of relations between Kazakhstan and the US. “Kazakhstan has been a strategic partner of the United States for many years. We have supported Kazakhstan’s Chairmanship in the OSCE last year and encourage its Chairmanship in the OIC. For us Kazakhstan is a very important partner. Our opinions and interests coincide on many issues of the international agenda, including countering terrorism and non-profileration,” the press-service cited Ordway’s speech after the meeting with Nursultan Nazarbayev.
