Kazakhstan’s President Nursultan Nazarbayev and UK’s Prime Minister David Cameron have discussed prospects to expand investments-related cooperation between the two nations, President Nazarbayev’s website informed June 30. “President Nazarbayev has met UK’s Prime Minister David Cameron in the [oil-producing] Atyrau City [located in the West of Kazakhstan]. David Cameron is on a state visit to Kazakhstan. The sides dwelt on prospects of activating trade and economic, innovations and investments-related cooperation between the two nations”, the statement reads. The official part of David Cameron’s visit is to start on Monday in Astana, Kazakhstan’s capital city. The sides are to discuss a wide range of issues of mutual interest to the UK and Kazakhstan, including at extended sittings.
