All will benefit from peacefull setlement of Syrian conflict: Nazarbayev

Kazakhstan supports Russian position of solving the Syrian conflict and passing Syria's chemical weapons under the international control, Tengrinews.kz reports from Bishkek citing President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev as saying at the enlarged meeting of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization member states. "Kazakhstan is extremely concern over the used of chemical weapons in Syria. I'm sure that not all diplomatic means of settlement of the conflict have been exhausted. We well all win if it is done peacefully," he said. “We are totally against any military interventions to Syria by any countries. Especially since Syria has officially joined the United Nations Chemical Weapons Convention today," the Russian President Vladimir Putin said during the session. The United States believe that it has been proved that the Syrian authorities made a chemical attack on August 21 near Damascus killing more than 1,400 people. The US President Barack Obama made a decision to strike Syria without UN Security Council approval and submitted the bill to the US Congress for voting. Later Moscow offered to transfer the chemical weapon under the international control and Damascus supported the initiative. The armed conflict between the opposition forces and the government troops has been continuing for two years in Syria. According to the UN's latest data, the civil war has already claimed lives of 100,000 people.
