Abat Nurseitov appointed Director General of KMG EP

Abat Nurseitov has been elected Director General of KazMunaiGas Exploration&Production (KMG EP) by the company’s board, Tengrinews.kz reports citing the press-service of the company. Nurseitov has been working in KMG EP since October 2006. Until the today’s appointment he has been working as deputy Director General for Production. Nurseitov replaced Alik Aidarbayev in the position of the chairman of the board of KMG EP. “The new head of the company confirmed his adherence to the major strategic objectives of KMG EP and the intention to continue implementation of modernization projects,” the press-service writes. Former Director General of KMG EP Alik Aidarbayev resigned from the post because of his appointment Akim (Governor) of Mangistau oblast. He replaced Baurzhan Mukhamedzhanov.
