Kazakhstan’s PM Karim Massimov met Kyrgyzstan President Almazbek Atambayev, Tengrinews.kz reports, citing the PM’s blog. “On behalf of President Nazarbayev, PM Massimov greeted Mr. Atambayev on his taking the office. In his turn, the Kyrgyz President expressed his gratitude to President Nazarbayev for the warm greetings”, the blog entry reads. The sides also dwelt on bilateral cooperation in the economy realm. December 1 Bishkek, the capital city of Kyrgyzstan, hosted the inauguration of President Almazbek Atambayev. About 30 high-ranking guests were among those in attendance, including Kazakhstan’s PM Karim Massimov, Georgia’s President Mikhail Saakashvili, Tadjikistan PM Akil Akilov and heads of the SCO and OSCE.
