Oleg Pereverzev, Kazakhstan pianist and member of CHICK FLICK band, has made it into the semifinals of the famous Ukraina Mae Talant 5 TV show (Ukraine's Got Talent) Tengrinews.kz reports. The musician performed Rimskiy-Korsakov’s Flight of the Bumblebee that is known for its fast tempo playing two musical instruments at the same time. Besides playing to pianos - with his back to one of them - Pereverzev also drank coffee and smoked a cigarette during the performance. The semifinal will be shot in the mid of May. Ukraina Mae Talant (Ukraine's Got Talent) is similar to America’s Got Talent created by Simon Cowell. Prominent Ukrainian artists Vladislav Yama, Slava Frolova, Igor Kondratyuk are members of the jury. The show is aired by Ukraine’s most popular TV channel STB. Oleg Pereverzev became popular soon after he posted his video on YouTube. He performs classical music pieces in a non-conventional manner. The young musician performs Rimskiy-Korsakov’s Flight of the Bumblebee playing two instruments at the same time in one of his videos. He also performed Ferencz Liszt’s Hungarian Rhapsody No.2 with his back to the instrument. After his videos had a great number of views and fans, Pereverzev was invited to take part in Russian show Minute of Fame, but the jurymen were not impressed by his show and the musician withdrew from the contest.
