Nazarbayev took part in Industrial-Innovation Forum in Astana

Industrial-innovation forum called Let's build strong Kazakhstan together! started in Astana today, July 4. Kazakhstan President Nursultan Nazarbayev took part in the forum, Tengrinews.kz reports. The event includes exhibition called Kazakhstan content-2011 and presentation of projects implemented as part of the Industialization Map. Over a hundred companies take part in the forum. Teleconference bridge is expected to be held during the forum. Kazakhstan President Nursultan Nazarbayev will take an online tour of six companies launched this year under state program of Accelerated Industrial-Innovative Development (shaped-tube-producing factory in Almaty oblast, production of cargo carriages in Pavlodar, gold-extracting plant in Zhambyl oblast, construction of sea metal frames in Mangistau oblast, greenhouse complex in Karaganda and car-assembling plant in Kostanai oblast). The President will also check the construction process of Zhetigen-Korgas railroad in Almaty oblast. Project to expand and reconstruct Ekibastuz Hydro Electric Station-2 are expected to be launched.  Implementation of the state program of Accelerated Industrial-Innovative Development (SPAIID-2010-2014) started last year. According to press-service of Kazakhstan Ministry of Industry and New Technologies, the volume of industrial production in the last six months made over six trillion tenge ($41 billion). This year the Government will continue working on implementation of industry programs in priority economy sectors and support businesses: “Export-2020”, “Investor-2020”, “Road Map-2020”. “Productivity-2020” program was launched this year. The Industrialization Map has been created and includes 469 project with an overall cost of 8.3 trillion tenge ($57 billion). Over 140 thousand jobs will open under the project. 130 projects with an overall cost of 600 billion tenge ($ billion) will be launched in Kazakhstan by the end of the year. Investments of around 1.5 trillion tenge ($10 billion) will be attracted for all the projects of the Industrialization Map.  By Assel Satayeva
