Timur Kulibayev to head Samruk Kazyna

Timur Kulibayev has been appointed to head Samruk Kazyna Sovereign Wealth Fund, Tengrinews.kz reports, citing PM Karim Massimov’s Twitter account entry.
“I am going to Samruk Kazyna to introduce Timur Kulibayev in the capacity of the Fund’s Chairman”, PM wrote.
April 11, Kairat Kelimbetov, the previous Chairman of the Fund, was appointed Minister of Economic Development and Trade.
From October 2008 Timur Kulibayev held the position of the Vice Chairman of the Board at Samruk Kazyna Sovereign Wealth Fund.
