Nursultan Nazarbayev to visit egg plant in Akmola Oblast on August 8

Nursultan Nazarbayev will visit the egg factory as part of his working trip to Akmola oblast on August 8, Tengrinews.kz reports referring to KazAgroFinance press-service. “Kazger Kus is a modern commercial egg plant. It is on the agenda of the President’s working trip to the region. The poultry facility was put into service in 2009. It is located in Stepnyak village of Yenbekshikazakh region. Overall cost of the project makes 2.79 billion tenge ($18.9 million). 1.86 billion tenge (12.6 million) our of this amount came through KazAgroFinance. The enterprise’s designed production capacity is to 160 million eggs a year,” KazAgroFinance press-service said. According to KazAgroFinance, the factory produced 136.6 million eggs as of June 2011. The factory created 191 new jobs. Products of the plant are supplied to the markets of Astana, Almaty, Shymkent, Atyrau, Pavlodar and Karaganda cities and Akmola Oblast KazAgroFinance is government’s arm for development of agro-industrial sector of Kazakhstan by making funding of technical and technological renovations more available to farmers.
