Goods worth Euro 1.5 thousand to be moved free of customs duty within Customs Union

Individuals within the Customs Union are allowed to bring in into their respective countries goods worth Euro 1.5 thousand [or 50 kg] free of customs duty, Bnews.kz quoted Vice Chairman of the Tax Committee [under the Tax Ministry] Igor Ten as saying. According to him, customs offices will be taken into account frequency of individuals’ trips. Starting from July 1, 2011 customs border inside the Customs Union will be removed completely.
