Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia Sergey Lavrov will visit Astana on May 13-14, 2011, Tengrinews.kz reports citing an official representative of Kazakhstan Foreign Ministry.
Russian Foreign Minister will meet with Kazakhstan President Nursultan Nazarbayev and hold bilateral negotiations with Kazakhstan Minister of Foreign Affairs Yerzhan Kazykhanov.
The subjects to be discussed at the meetings will include near-border partnership, fuel and space cooperation. The ministers will exchange their opinions on the Caspian Sea issues.
A bilateral communique is expected to be signed at the meeting of Kazykhanov and Lavrov.
