Illegal Internet use to be discussed by SCO in Astana

Illegal use of Internet will be discussed by the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) on April 28, 2011 in Astana, Tengrinews.kz reports citing Kazakhstan Foreign Ministry's press-service. The 2nd sitting of the Internal Affairs and Social Security Ministers of the SCO member-states will be held in Astana on April 28, 2011. The meeting will be attended by the ministers of six countries, as well as heads of SCO Anti-Terrorist Regional Secretariats, representatives of observing states (India, Iran, Mongolia, Pakistan), SCO partners, representatives of Belarus and Sri Lanka. Besides way of harnessing organized crime and illegal drug trafficking, the meeting will discuss practical ways of detecting and investigating IT-related crimes and illegal Internet use. 4th meeting of Security Councils of SCO member states will be held on April 29.
