A new golf club is going to appear at the coast of Shuchye Lake in 2015, Tengrinews.kz reports. “It is expected that construction of the new golf club will kick off this year. It will include a hotel for 100 guests, club house premises, 15 cottages, artificial harbors and 18 golf courses. The total area of the golf club will make 103 hectares. The project will be implemented in three years,” Ruslan Mestoyev, Kaztransoil Company business director said at the presentation of the project. As for the development of Burabay (a district of Akmola oblast in northern Kazakhstan) free trade zone that was established in 2008, the project will be implemented in seven stages. The first stage includes construction of accommodation facilities totally worth 450 billion tenge (about $3 billion). A 200-room hotel, restaurants, 2000-square meters SPA-Center, yacht harbor and other premises for recreation and entertainment will be constructed as part of the project. This grand tourism and leisure project on the Coast of Shuchye Lake will be implemented in 12 years - by 2021. Serik Akhmetov, Kazakhstan First Deputy Prime-Minister, has inspected the condition of roads in Burabay region. Serik Akhmetov assigned the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade and the Ministry of Finance along with the Oblast’s Akimat (oblast’s administration) to assess an amount of money that is required to take top-priority measures on development of Shchuchinsk-Borovoye resort zone. The First Deputy Prime-Minister has also visited Shuchinsk town where he inspected and pointed out the poor condition of roads at Morozov, Gornaya and Seifullin Streets.
