Kazakhstan's external debt made $124 billion

Kazakhstan’s external debt is $124 billion, Tengrinews.kz reports citing Kazakhstan Vice-Minister of Finance Ruslan Dalenov. According to the message in the Minister’s microblog, the U.S. has the highest external debt in the world: $14.7 trillion. Great Britain is second with the debt of $9.8 trillion. Russia is 21st with 539 billion debt. Kazakhstan is listed 36. “The U.S. have the largest external debt in the world : $14.7 trillion; the UK is second with $9.8 trillion; Russia (21st) owes 539 billion and Kazakhstan (36th) owes $124 billion [CIA, 30.06.11],” Vice-Minister tweeted. Earlier Kazakhstan Prime-Minister Karim Massimov said at the online-conference at Zakon.kz that the situation with the external debt in Kazakhstan is much better than in any EU country.
