30 endangered Bukhar deers releaseed in southern Kazakhstan

30 endangered Bukhar deers have been released from South Kazakhstan oblast’s nursery, Tengrinews.kz reports, citing Shafkat Khandullayev, director's of Turkestan's Agency for Forest and Wildlife Preservation. The deers will still be living behind barriers for some time; however, the habitat is very similar to their natural life environment. The nursery's personnel will continue feeding the animals for some more time to make sure they adapt completely. Surveillance videocameras are installed in the habitat area to monitor the deers. 24 deers are still left at the nursery. The nursery started working with the rare deers 13 years ago. There were only seven deers at the nursery at first. The number of the animals has grown to 50 in the past years.
