The investigation of L-39 training plane crash in Aktobe airport is underway, Interfax-Kazakhstan reports. “The investigation is currently underway. The black box is undamaged but the experts will make their statement in around 20 days or maybe in a month,” head of the Western regional military investigation department of Kazakhstan Interior Ministry Bakhytkazy Zhuniszhanov said. According to him, there are around 20 versions of the accident’s causes. “The only correct version may be found by the method of exclusion,” Zhuniszhanov said. The official explained that the accident in Aktobe airport was investigated jointly with the inter-authority commission. “We are waiting for results of its work. We have interviewed the accident's witnesses. Biological, chemical, physical-chemical and forensic checks have been appointed. The documentation and materials on the plane’s technical condition have been seized, as well as records from surveillance cameras,” Zhuniszhanov added. The L-39 aircraft owned by Talgat Begeldinov Air Defense Military Institute was completing a training flight when it crashed into a hangar after closely avoiding a collision with a passenger plane. The accident claimed lives of a Military Institute’s Flights Safety Supervisor Сommander Yevgeniy Vissarionov and a second-year student of the Military Institute Arman Massalimov who were in the plane. Aktobe Military Prosecutor’s Office initiated a criminal case for violation of flight rules and flight preparations.
