Cracks in Bessoba buildings are not widening: Karaganda administration

Karaganda experts have found no deviations in the framework of the buildings in Bessoba residential complex, Tengrinews.kz reports citing the press-service of the city’s administration. “It was found that there were no deviations in the condition of the buildings in Bessoba residential complex on July 24 compared to April 20. The buildings did not lurch and control markers remained intact. Small cracks in the markers installed in the building No.4 do not certify that the building is deforming,” Karaganda administration stated. However, a fence will be installed around the unfinished building No.4 to calm down the citizens of Bessoba complex. Geodesic control of the complex will be continued in a normal manner. “To provide protective measures and prevent emergency situations, all the buildings of Bessoba residential complex have been constantly monitored by experts of Kazakhstan Multi-Profile Institute of Reconstruction and Development since April 20, 2012,” the administration’s press-service stated. The last report was published on July 24. However, an additional check of the buildings was held in relation to the rumors spread around the city. Besides, Karaganda Akim (Mayor) Baurzhan Abdishev is going to organize a meeting with the citizens of Bessoba complex at the end of this week to discuss the problems.
