24 hectares of North Kazakhstan forest is on fire

A massive ground fire occurred in Airtau region of North Kazakhstan Oblast, Tengrinews.kz reports citing Ministry of Emergency Situations of Kazakhstan. According to the Ministry, the fire started on April 18 at 5:49 pm in the State Forest Hunting Range of Orlinogorsk. The flames were localized at 8:00 pm. 64 men and 17 vehicles were involved in the fire extinguishing. 14 men and 3 vehicles were provided by the firefighting service of the Emergency Situations Department of North Kazakhstan Oblast. The total area on fire made 23.7 hectares of forest. There are no victims or injured.
