Two militarymen were wounded in attacks on Atyrau Interior Department

Two policemen were wounded in the attacks of unknown persons on Atyrau Interior Department on September 14, Tengrinews.kz reports citing Kazakhstan Interior Ministry.
"Two unknown persons shot a guard of Atyrau Interior Department at 11:52 p.m. on September 14 wounding him in the leg. The criminals disappeared after the police officer opened fire. On September 15 two unknown persons tried to enter Atyrau Interior Department at 12:10 a.m. They threw a bottle with incendiary mixture towards the checkpoint and fired a shot at the militaryman on duty. The criminals disappeared after the duty officer shot back at them," Ministry's message writes.
A militaryman of the military base 5546 was wounded in the second attack. Currently both injured officers are in hospital, their condition is satisfactory. No civilian casualties were reported. "A criminal case was initiated and investigation is in process to identify and apprehend the criminals," Ministry states.
