Number of victims of near Almaty woods reached 11 people

The number of the victims in Almaty oblast has reached 11 people, Tengrinews.kz reports citing deputy chairman of the Criminal Police Commission of Kazakhstan Interior Ministry Arman Orazaliyev as saying at the briefing today. “The total number of the victims is 11. Six corpses were discovered at the first site and 5 corpses were found at the second site,” Orazaliyev said. “The first site had the body of the forester. Corpses of his wife, two of his workers and his friend were found 300 meters away from him. Six people have already been identified. The others are yet to be identified,” official representative of the Interior Ministry Nurdilda Oraz said. The police is currently searching for the forester’s son. No suspects have been apprehended yet. Besides, the Interior Ministry stated that the check of the forester’s house showed that it hadn't been robbed. There were $12,600 and 500,000 tenge ($3,300) in the cashbox, a 12 caliber plain-barrel rifle and the 16 caliber gun, bullets, two chains made of yellow metal and documents. “Nissan Patrol was found in front of the toll-gate. It was owned by the forester’s son. The car also contained a 16 caliber gun with bullets. VAZ-2121 car was found 100m from the house. The car has blood-like stains inside,” the Ministry stated. “All forestries are currently under control of the interior authorities. Management of the investigation commission of the Interior Ministry and oblast Interior Department is currently at the accident site, as well as an investigation groups of the Interior Department and personnel of the investigation department, the department on countering organized crime, administration police, criminal experts, prosecutors and personnel of the oblast Emergency Situations Department,” deputy chairman of the Criminal Police Commission said.
