The families of the police officers who died in the terrorist attack in Taraz will receive 1 million tenge ($6,800) each, Tengrinews.kz reports citing press-service of Zhambyl oblast administration. This decision was made by oblast Akim (Governor) Kanat Bozumbayev. “He said that the material support in amount of 1 million tenge will be paid to the families of every victim,” the press-service stated. The policemen who died in the terrorist attack will also be awarded with state awards postmortem, deputy head of investigation department of Interior Department of Zhambyl oblast Marat Kozhayev said at the press-conference in Taraz on November 13. Earlier Tengrinews.kz English reported that the terrorist attack happened in Taraz on November 12. 7 people fell victims of the accidents, five of them were police officers. Three officers of law-enforcement authorities were wounded. Two of them are currently in the hospital. The jihadist attacked the officers several times. He blew himself up during apprehension.
