Airline bancruptcy gives extra vacation days to 1,000 Kazakhstan tourists in Turkey

Around 1,000 Kazakhstan citizens cannot leave Antalya, Turkey, because of the Turkish air company's bankruptcy, Tengrinews.kz reports citing the press-service of Kazakhstan Foreign Ministry’s press-secretary Nurzhan Aitmakhanov. “According to Kazakhstan consulate in Antalya, around 1,000 Kazakhstan tourists cannot fly back to Kazakhstan because of the bankruptcy of the Turkish air company Sky Airlines. Kazakhstan consulate is talking all measures required to render support to Kazakhstan citizens. In particular, the agreement has already been reached with the bankrupt company’s partner, Qualitum Tour tourist operator,” Aitmakhanov said at the briefing. He also said that the first group of around 200 people is to arrive back to Kazakhstan today. “The talks are also in process with other companies dealing with charter flights,” the press-secretary noted.
