Creation of a pro-Jewish TV-channel to work against delegitimation of Israel in the world was announced by the Chairman of Eurasian Jewish Congress Aleksandr Mashkevich at International Leadership Reunion (ILR) forum in Washington, NEWSru.co.il reports citing Kol Israel radio. The TV channel’s is not meant for propaganda but to tell the truth about Israel, said Mashkevich at the meeting of the main sponsors of Keren Hayesod – United Israel Appeal. Heads of major Jewish organizations from different countries and representatives of the State of Israel and public authorities took part in the forum. The forum participants noted that young people in different countries know less about Israel that the older generation. The name of the channel to be created by the team of professionals is unknown yet. The channel will be broadcasting in several languages. The work on the channel may start in a few months, said Mashkevich, notable Kazakh businessman. Kol Israel tagged his initiative a Jewish Al Jazeera.
