First subscribers have signed up in Aktyubinsk. Earliaer the Company announced that in the Q2 2011 it would launch the service in Astana, Almaty, Kokshetau, Taldykorgan, Uralks, Ust-Kamenogorsk, Pavlodar, Karaganda and some others. In 2011 the Company intends to invest $ 185-217 million in the technical development. The Company plans to operate as a discounter. GSM mobile communications service in Kazkahstan is provided GSM Kazakhstan/Kcell (part of TeliaSonera, with 49% owned by KazakhTelecom) and Kar-Tel (controlled by Russia’s Vympelcom).
