A team of professional stunt actors of Kazakhstan’s Kun-Do stunt fighting school led by Igor Tsai has been invited to cooperate with an Indian filmmaker, Tengrinews.kz reports. In the beginning of June Kun-Do team will go to Mimbai where it will work on action scenes for A Bollywood action movie Saraswati by Arjun Varma Alluri. “This will be the Indian version of Russian Voroshilov Shooter. Saraswati is the name of the main character, the grandfather whose granddaughter was raped by three guys. This is a more modern version than the Russian one; it will have action elements,” Kun-Do actor Kair Akira said. The Indian filmmaker was impressed with the action scenes staged by Kun-Do in Timur Bekmambetov’s movie Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter. Having found out about Kun-Do and Igor Tsai from Hal Foster's blog at Tengrinews.kz, he contacted them on Facebook. Kun-Do team has been cooperating with filmmaker Timur Bekmambetov for over 5 years already. They staged stunts in Wanted and Day Watch. Their recent joint work can be seen in Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter and the remake of the Soviet comedy Gentlemen of Fortune.
