Movie The Dash by Kanagat Mustafin won third place in Lipetsk film festival

The movie The Dash by Kanagat Mustafin won the third place in Best feature film about sport nomination at the 8th international sport films festival Atlant, Tengrinews.kz reports citing press-service of Kazakhfilm studio. The top award in this nomination was given to Serbian movie Montevideo, second prize was given to Russian movie Men’s and Woman’s Game. “I like the festival a lot. And the audience liked the The Dash,” Kanagat Mustafin shared his impressions. He noted that the cinema was full during all the nights. “Atlant is the second largest festival of sport movies in the world after the Milan Festival. But this year it even beat it. 101 applications were submitted from 27 countries. The festival included movies of different genres: short movies, feature films and documentaries,” Kazakhstan film-maker said. The festival was held in Lipetsk, Russia, on September 27-30. It was organized under patronage of the European Council with support of Russian Ministry of Sport, Tourism and Youth Policy and International Federation of Sport Cinema and TV.
