After the Apocalypse hits London screens

The world premiere of After the Apocalypse, a movie about people suffering from Semipalatinsk nuclear polygon, took place in London, Wellcome reports. The show was followed by Q&A by leading genetics experts and the audience. The movie will be shown in all British cinemas in summer. The documentary was shot by a British film-maker Antony Butts. It is a story of a young pregnant lady Bibigul. She has inborn defects and doctors advise her to make an abortion because the risk of her child being born with Down's syndrome was extremely high. The movie will not be shown in Kazakhstan, as the film-maker promised the main character that her country will not see the movie.
