Sound Check-2011 car sound and tuning contest held in Almaty

Sound Check-2011 car sound and tuning contest was held in Almaty on May 15 under European Mobile Media Association (EMMA) Kazakhstan, Tengrinews.kz reports. Vse Vmeste forum organized the show. Kazakhstan residents as well as guests from Kyrgyzstan with a total of more than 200 cars took part in the event. Many cars were distinct in powerful and high-quality sound as well as beautiful interiors and external design. The show had a big audience despite of the hot weather and its remote location. As per the tournament rules, anyone could check the cars out and turn their own music CDs on to fully assess the sound quality. The tournament participants competed in six categories: SQ (sound quality), ММ (multimedia), ESPL (sound pressure), EMMA Racing (sound quality, sound pressure, tuning, design and car running characteristics), EMMA Tuning (styling, tuning, audio) and EMMA-Art. The winners are: EMMA Tuning Hand Made – Goncharov Oleg, Tkachyov Ivan, Uteshev Anvar; SQ Novice – Bakhyt Syzdykbayev, Yevgeniy Danyuk, Altai Kemelbekov; SQ Nonpro – Dmitriy Kovalev, Ramil Usmanov, Aleksey Sokolov; SQ Master - Aleksey Mamuzin, Altynbek Kamanov; SPL Novice 2 subwoofers – Yevgeniy Shevchenko, Sergey Chibizov; SPL Novice 4 subwoofers – Ivan Tkachyov, Andrey Nazarov, Andrey Sinyakovsky and others. "The tournament went successfully. The participants' level grows from year to year. The winner of the contest's final stage will represent Kazakhstan at the championship in Europe. Beside the final in Almaty, we are planning two more stages and one of them will be held in Karaganda. The final is scheduled for the end of September,” said the head of EMMA Kazakhstan Marat Duisembin "For sure I am very happy with my results. Second place is good enough, but of course I would like more, so there is still space for improvement. I started taking part in the tournament from the moment my car was ready. The previous contest was around a month ago,” said the silver winner of EMMA Sound Check-2011 Ramil Usmanov who put his blue Toyota Celica up for the contest. None of the participants were left without gifts and prizes. Those who did not win a medal place received the gifts. Winners received golden cups and surprises from sponsors. By Daniyar Bozov
